- Sinbad was on a voyage and stopped at what seemed to be an island
- The island turned out to be the back of the whale and he was left for dead at sea
- he then drifted to an island and survived the sea and also found men who fed him
- There they told him he was lucky because they were going back to their king the next day.
First Voyage cont.
- Sinbad is received graciously by the king and wa helped out there
- The vessel he had been on before the whale plunging into the sea was there on the island
- He saw his packages and asked the captain who they belonged to
- There after the it took the captain a cool minute to beleievd that sinbad was sinbad until the other sailors saw him
- He then set sail on the same ship to see his family and forget what he had lived through
(The whale diving down into the sea)
